BIRNIN KEBBI, Nigeria — A total of 18 first-term governors from the All Progressives Congress convened a closed-door meeting at the Kebbi Government House on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

The visiting officials present at the location include the governors of Sokoto, Kaduna, Jigawa, Plateau, Delta, Ekiti, Taraba, Ondo, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Edo, Benue, Kogi, and Enugu.
Three governors representing Cross River, Niger, and Katsina submitted formal apologies for their absence from the session.
